RCRA Corrective Action Program
Our TSDF is conducting RCRA Corrective Action assessments on pre-RCRA waste management units—areas operated before the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act established current regulations. The active landfill (Cell M) is not under investigation. This work is conducted under Ohio EPA direction to protect human health and the environment, with investigations focused on historical units that predate modern environmental standards.
Like most industrial facilities operating before RCRA regulations, our site had historical solid waste disposal areas. Crystal Clean has addressed these through the RCRA Corrective Action Program and actively maintains remediated units according to approved plans. No ongoing contamination issues exist at the facility.
